Two bluebirds, actually three

Happy Sunday!!!!

It feels so good to be home this weekend.
My dad was at the hospital for six days, long story short, he had two stents put in his left side of his heart. He feels so much better then he has for awhile now. There was three days last weekend that I didn't even open my laptop. I tried to stitch the first two days waiting and waiting at the hospital for test, but I messed up and frogged so much I just gave up, the frogger won, lol

I did get Needles & Pins Heart Pinkeep finished last night

By With Thy Needle & Thread
stitched on 36ct cinnamon roll linen
The oil can is still in waiting for it to be mounted, that's another day.
I just want to relax and stitch

I also finished Scare A Crow early this morning

I dug out one of my oldest UFO
Monopoly gameboard, I plan to put a few stitched in this afternoon
Yes! stitched on Aida

I bought a couple embroidered bluebirds in frames at a secondhand store a long time ago. I stumbled across them the other day. I took them out of the frames that had old cards and brown tape. I threw them in the washing machine, ironed them, which brought out their old musty smell. Now they are two pillows. I own one and Brianna has the other one.

Well! Thats all for today

I'm going to make some lunch, stitch down

and watch my recorded shows I missed last week

Hello Ranae

These stents are a life saver and several of my friends have had them put in - they are 'new people' too.
Such a blessing for your Dad to feel so good again.

Love all your beautiful stitching Ranae.
Isn't it wonderful to find old work lovingly stitched by someone in a different time and giving 'new life' to those pieces too!
Bluebirds have such special meaning too.

Wishing you a happy week

Oh goodness, your Monopoly game board is like a blast from the past. I started one a long time ago (on Aida of course) and never finished it. Your bluebird looks wonderful, and continued wishes that your father improves each and every day.

Pretty stitching as always. Beautiful bluebird. Haven't thought about that monopoly game board in some years! Have fun with it.

So nice to hear that your Dad is much improved. That should make all that frogging go down a bit easier.
